President Said Abdullahi Deni of the regional state of Puntland has appointed 13 new directors for various ministries.
Deni announced the new appointments on Saturday, August 21.
Some of the new directors include Abdirahman Mohamed Muse who joins the Ministry of Livestock Production as the Director of Livestock Production.
Others include Abdirizak Jama Nur who becomes the new Director of Administration and Finance in the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Housing.
Deni’s new directors also feature:
- Abdulkadir Ali Suleiman – Director of the Security Department of the Ministry of Security
- Abdihakin Abdile Guled – Director of the Planning Department of the Ministry of Security
- Jama Mohamed Yusuf – Director of the DDR Department in the Ministry of Security
- Abdirahman Mohamed Mohamud – Director of Administration and Finance in the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Youth and Sports
- Faisal Abdullahi Mohamed – Ministry of Security’s Director of the Administration and Finance
- Mohamed Muse Jama – Ministry of Security’s Director of the Mine Action Department
- Abdullahi Isse Omar (Rabiile) – Ministry of Livestock’s Director of Administration and Finance
- Sharmarke Abdullahi Duale – Ministry of Livestock’s Director of the Planning Department
- Adan Aabi Samatar – the Ministry of Animal Husbandry’s Director of the Veterinary Department
- Sadiq Abdullahi Ahmed – Director in Ministry of Livestock’s Veterinary Services Extension Department
- Mohamed Fuad Warsame – Ministry of Livestock’s Director of Labor, Human Resources and Training
The new directors assume office immediately.
