President Said Abdullahi Deni led the residents of Puntland in celebrating the region’s 25th anniversary.
Puntland is the oldest of all the Federal Member States (FMS) in Somalia having been formed in 1998.
On Tuesday, Deni led a cast that included members of his administration in the anniversary celebrations.
The largest and loudest celebrations took place in Garowe, which is Puntland’s administrative capital.
