President Said Abdullahi Deni of Puntland hosted a delegation comprising traditional elders, youth, and women from Karkaar region.
Deni’s meeting with the Karkaar delegation took place on January 20.
Afterward, President Deni expressed gratitude at the opportunity he had to host the delegation of traditional elders, youth, and women.
Sources indicate that they discussed several issues pertinent to the semiautonomous region.
Items on their agenda included development, upcoming elections, and security challenges hanging over Puntland.
