Puntland’s President Said Abdullahi Deni has rubbished the resumption of Somalia-Somaliland talks.
The Puntland leader said that the talks that resumed in Djibouti on Thursday are a waste of time.
President Deni criticized organizers of the talks for opting to omit any Puntland representative from the talks.
He added that any agreement reached during the talks would not be binding to Puntland.
Djiboutian President Ismail Osman Guelleh is the mediator in the talks between Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Somaliland’s President Muse Bihi Abdi.
