President Said Abdullahi Deni has said that Puntland is “honored” to host the fourth Heritage Institute for Policy Studies (HIPS) forum.
Garowe, the administrative capital of Puntland, has been selected the first city in Somalia to host the HIPS forum.
Approximately 300 guests are expected at HIPS 4th Annual Forum for Ideas 2020, which kicks off on December 29.
Some of these guests at the forum include current and former Somali political leaders, traditional elders, and representatives of the civil society.
Participants at the forum would be discussing several issues that are important for the future of the East African nation.
