President Said Abdullahi Deni has sent the Puntland football team off to the regional tournament expected to kick off in Mogadishu soon.
The team set off on the journey to Mogadishu on Thursday, December 18.
The inter-state football competition took a short break since 2016 when Puntland team emerged victorious.
Back then, they defeated Jubbaland team 5-3 on penalties.
