Said Abdullahi Deni has been sworn in for a second term as the President of Puntland.
Deni emerged victorious in the elections conducted on Monday in Garowe.
Sixty-six regional legislators were involved in the elections.
Forty-five legislators voted for Deni in the third round.
Twenty-one legislators voted for Deni’s closest opponent, Guled Salah.
Afterward, President Deni was sworn in to start serving his second term in office.
