President Said Abdullahi Deni of Puntland toured various infrastructural development sites in Qardho City.
The President toured the sites and projects in the city on January 18.
As part of his tour, he visited the ongoing construction of a new branch of the Somali National University (SNU).
Additionally, President Deni also visited the site where a new football stadium is currently being constructed.
Qardho City is also expected to host a new airport. President Deni made his way to the airport to witness the progress of this project.
Most importantly, his itinerary included a visit to the site where his administration is currently building the Puntland Pest Monitoring and Control Center.
The center is expected to play an important role, especially now that Puntland has been experiencing a fresh wave of locust infestation.
