Denmark encourages Somalia to embrace gender equality in its civil service.
This emerged on Tuesday when officials from the Danish Embassy in Mogadishu visited the Chairman of the National Civil Service Commission (NCSC) of Somalia.
The Danish Embassy officials held talks with NCSC Chairman Hassan Abshirow Mohammed.
They commended Mohammed’s team for focusing on gender equality but called for more to be done to improve the numbers.
Furthermore, they discussed efforts to improve the bureaucratic processes in the civil service.
