Sascha Kienzle, the Deputy Ambassador of German to Somalia, visited the newly refurbished headquarters of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Mogadishu.
Kienzle visited the CID headquarters on Wednesday.
The headquarters were refurbished at a cost of US$1.4 million as part of the Joint Police Programme (JPP).
Several international partners financed the refurbishment. These included German, the European Union, and the United Kingdom.
Local professionals, including female engineers, technicians, and trainees, were involved in the process.
