Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi M. Gulaid hosted the Qatari Ambassador to Somalia at his office in Mogadishu.
The meeting between Gulaid and Ambassador Hassan Hamza took place on Sunday, February 6.
During their meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister and Ambassador Hamza discussed several issues.
Top on their agenda was the need for improving bilateral relations between Somalia and Qatar.
They also spoke about Qatar’s assistance to the drought mitigation efforts in Somalia.
