Mahdi M. Gulaid, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) held a meeting with the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia on December 23.
The Deputy Prime Minister’s meeting with Mehmet Yilmaz, Turkish Ambassador to Somalia, took place at the former’s office in Mogadishu.
Deputy Prime Minister Gulaid called the Wednesday meeting “productive.”
Furthermore, the Deputy Prime Minister confirmed that he held productive discussions on Somalia’s bilateral relations with Turkey.
The European nation remains one of the East African country’s most important and loyal international partners.
