Detained Somali journalist is scheduled to appear before a court in Benadir shortly.
Abdalle Ahmed Ahmed will appear before the Benadir Regional Court on Sunday, October 16.
The journalist, who also serves as the Secretary-General of the Somali Journalists Syndicate (SJS), has been in detention for several days now.
Officers from the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) arrested him in Mogadishu on October 11.
They said Mumin’s arrest was because of security-related crimes that he had committed.
