Last night, the Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, Sheikh Adan Mohamed Noor Madobe, hosted a dinner in Mogadishu for the East African Community (EAC) Parliament Speaker, Joseph Ntakirutimana, who is on a working visit to the city.
Top officials from the Somali and EAC parliaments attended the dinner on Wednesday night.
The visit is part of efforts to strengthen regional cooperation and discuss key legislative matters affecting the East African region.
The dinner served as a platform for both leaders to exchange views on enhancing parliamentary collaboration and addressing mutual challenges, including security issues and economic development within the region.
