The Director-General of the Central Bank of Somaliland is in Ethiopia and Djibouti on an official visit.
Director-General Mohamed Qassin Hussein traveled to Ethiopia and Djibouti for a meeting with officials from both nations’ Central Banks.
First, his discussions were with Mamo Mihretu of the Central Bank of Ethiopia.
They discussed ways in which their respective Central Banks could cooperate to spur economic development.
Ahmed Osman, the Chairman of the Djibouti Central Bank, received DG Hussein when he later arrived in the country.
He agreed with Osman on the importance of their financial institutions working closely together.
