The Federal Electoral Dispute Resolution Committee has validated the electoral win of the Acting Director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA).
Yasin Farey, the Acting Director of NISA, emerged victorious in the elections held for the #HOP67 parliamentary seat.
However, his opponents had raised complaints on his electoral victory.
They claimed that he won fraudulently and unfairly.
Moreover, his opponents complained that widespread rigging had accompanied Farey’s election as the new Member of Parliament (MP).
The Dispute Resolution Committee determined that “all procedures had been followed to the latter.”
