Somaliland’s electoral body has concluded the distribution of voting cards.
The National Elections Commission (NEC) of Somaliland announced the conclusion of the exercise.
NEC completed the exercise on June 23.
Consequently, the electoral body is now ready for the upcoming polls.
Musa Hassan Yusuf, the Chairman of NEC, confirmed the commission’s readiness to hold polls.
NEC distributed the voting cards in two phases.
It handed the cards to voters in Sahil, Sanaag, and Awadal in the first phase.
Next, the electoral body distributed them in Sool, Togdeer, and Maroodi-jeh.
