President Ismail Omar Guelleh of Djibouti has commended the ongoing crackdown against terrorists in Somalia.
The Djiboutian President said this when he held a meeting with President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia.
Guelleh and Hassan met in the Djiboutian capital on Wednesday.
The Somali President has been in Djibouti to attend the Heritage Institute’s annual general meeting.
President Guelleh expressed delight with the progress that Somalia has made in the past few weeks and months.
Lately, the Somali government has worked closely with local communities around the country to eradicate terrorists.
During their meeting, the two leaders also discussed strengthening the historic relations between their respective nations.
