Djibouti’s Minister of Culture in Somaliland for Hargeisa International Book Fair

Djibouti’s Minister of Culture and Youth has traveled to Somaliland’s capital for the 2021 Hargeisa International Book Fair.

Ms. Hibo Mumin arrived in the capital city on Friday, July 23.

The inaugural edition of the Hargeisa book fair is scheduled to kick off on Saturday.

Suleiman Yusuf Ali, Mumin’s Somaliland counterpart, was at the Hargeisa International Airport to receive her.

Liban Yusuf, the Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs, and other government dignitaries accompanied Suleiman to the airport to receive Mumin.

Several guests and ministers from neighboring countries will be attending the book fair. A delegation from the Somali Region in Ethiopia is already in Hargeisa.
