Domestic flights have resumed in Somalia officially starting today.
Three months ago, the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) announced a ban on all domestic flights to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
However, a brief ceremony conducted at Mogadishu’s Aden Adde International Airport and attended by several government officials declared the ban over.
Consequently, Somalis can now travel to any destination of their choice around the country starting today.
