There was relief in Beledweyne when dozens of families were rescued from floods.
Beledweyne has been buried in floods after River Shabelle burst its banks earlier this week.
The floods forced authorities to code schools while most roads were rendered impassable.
Several people were rescued from submerged shops and homes.
Business remains at standstill in the town that is 335km to the north of Mogadishu.
