Osman Dubbe, Somalia’s Minister of Information, has condemned the recent deportation of Somalis from Somaliland.
Dubbe was speaking to the media over the recent reports that authorities in Somaliland deported more than 700 people from Southern Somalia.
He said the incident was impossible to fathom, especially considering that residents of Las Anod in Sool are renowned for their culture of hospitality and patriotism.
The information minister expressed his hope that the Somaliland authorities would reconsider the deportation and invite the deportees back.
