Legislators from the East African Community (EAC) parliament arrived in Mogadishu today on an official visit.
The legislators are in the Somali capital at the invitation of Speaker Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur Madobe of the House of the People (Lower House).
Speaker Madobe invited them to a 2-day official visit that kicks off on Saturday.
During their time in Mogadishu, the lawmakers are expected to discuss Somalia’s parliamentary representation at the EAC Parliament.
They will discuss this and other pertinent issues with the leadership of the Lower House.
