Education Minister Visits Warjirow School to Monitor Implementation of New Curriculum

Abdullahi Godah Barre, Somalia’s Minister of Education, Culture, and Higher Education, visited Warjirow School in Balad on Tuesday.

During his visit, Barre used the opportunity to evaluate the implementation of the newly launched standardized curriculum for secondary schools in the country.

While at the school, the minister got a chance to interact with the students.

The learners expressed their gratitude to the education ministry and the Federal Government of Somalia for launching a curriculum that is “satisfying to learn.”

Barre hailed all the experts in Somalia who worked on the curriculum jointly within the country.

He expressed delight and optimism at the next generation of learners that would graduate from secondary schools around the country.

President Mohamed Farmaajo launched the new curriculum early this week.
