The Ministry of Education, Culture, and Higher Education commended the Council of Ministers for approving the National Higher Education Act.
The Council of Ministers approved the act on Thursday during the weekly meeting held under the leadership of Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre.
Additionally, cabinet ministers also approved the National Teachers Policy.
As per the education ministry, the new act and policy will both improve the standards of education in the country.
It vowed to continue with reforms in the education sector.
