Minister of Finance Bihi Egeh held talks with representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on the second review of the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) for Somalia.
The meeting between Egeh and the IMF team took place on Tuesday.
Egeh’s delegation included officers from the finance ministry as well as those from the Central Bank of Somalia (CBS).
They discussed the progress of the ongoing reforms from March 2024 in the East African nation.
Specifically, they focused on the reforms that are expected to end on June 13, 2024.
CBS Governor Abdirahman M. Abdullahi was at the review meeting too.
