Bihi Egeh has termed the ongoing Red Sea crisis a danger to Somalia’s economy.
Egeh, Somalia’s Minister of Finance, said this during his keynote speech at the meeting of Arab Finance Ministers in Cairo, Egypt.
His speech mostly focused on geopolitical crises and debt.
In his keynote address, Egeh stated that other regional economies were not safe from the effect of the ongoing crises either.
Egeh assured his colleagues of Somalia’s steadfast dedication to diversiying revenue sources to reduce dependency on customs.
