A medical team from Egypt arrived in Mogadishu to provide free treatment and surgical procedures to hundreds of patients.
The plane carrying the Egyptian doctors and senior medical consultants landed at the Aden Adde International Airport on Friday.
Their mission to provide free operations and treatment for 700 patients will undoubtedly have a significant impact on healthcare access in the region.
Such collaborations are vital in addressing Somalia’s healthcare challenges, especially in a context where resources are often stretched.
This initiative not only reflects the strong ties between Somalia and Egypt but also provides critical medical support to those in need.
