Souef Mohamed El-Amine attended a farewell ceremony held in honor of 45 African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) officers.
The ATMIS officers have completed their tour of duty in Somalia.
El-Amine attended the event in his capacity as the Head of ATMIS and the Special Representative of the Chairperson of the AU Commission (SRCC).
He was in the company of other senior ATMIS personnel during Thursday’s ceremony.
El-Amine commended the troops for their sacrifices, professionalism, and dedication to serve.
