Souef Mohamed El-Amine was in Jubbaland on Wednesday to visit the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) forces.
El-Amine is the Head of ATMIS.
He was accompanied by Maj. Gen. Peter Kimani and CP Hilary Sao Kanu when visiting the ATMIS forces in Dhobley.
Kimani is the ATMIS Deputy Force Commander for Support & Logistics.
Kanu serves as the ATMIS Police Commissioner.
They commended the efforts of the troops in Dhobley for ensuring that the region remains secure and peaceful.
