El Nino rains will cause flooding in large parts of Somalia.
Mahamuud Moallim, the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) Commissioner has warned.
Commissioner Moallim issued this warning on Sunday while speaking with state media.
He urged members of public to be vigilant and prepare adequately.
El Nino is expected in Somalia and other nations in the Horn of Africa region between October and November 2023.
