A vehicle laden with explosives was seized in Gedo on Sunday. Security officers seized the vehicle in Dolow, a district in Gedo.
The driver of that car is also in police custody.
Authorities believe that the weapons and explosives were designed for an attack against civilians.
No injuries or casualties were reported in the incident, though.
