President Abdelfattah El-Sisi has said that Egypt remains supportive of the territorial integrity of Somalia.
President El-Sisi said this when he spoke with his Somali counterpart President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on phone.
The Egyptian and Somali presidents spoke on Thursday evening.
Their discussions also focused on regional stability as well as ways of enhancing bilateral ties between Somalia and Egypt.
El-Sisi took the opportunity to congratulate Somalia on the 64th anniversary of its independence.
