An employee of Mogadishu municipality lost his life in a terror attack in the city on Tuesday.
Reports from the region added that two other civilians suffered extensive injuries in the attack that took place in the morning.
Suspected Al-Shabaab terrorists attacked a checkpoint at Ifka-Halane Junction, Mogadishu.
Sadik Ali Duudishe, a police spokesperson, confirmed this latest development in a press briefing immediately after the deadly explosion.
