The Minister of Energy and Water Resources has donated a rescue boat to the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA).
Energy Minister Jama Taqal Abbas presented the rescue boat to SODMA on Sunday.
He requested the SODMA officials to use the boat in the ongoing rescue efforts in Bardhere, which has borne the brunt of the floods in Somalia.
Abbas also urged SODMA to use it in transporting essential supplies to those made needy by the floods.
