DHUSAMAREEB — A delegation led by Somalia’s Federal Minister of Energy and Water Resources, H.E. Abdullahi Bidhaan Warsame, arrived in Dhusamareeb on Friday to commence a significant inter-governmental dialogue.
The delegation was received at the Galmudug State House, where initial discussions were held with the State Vice President, H.E. Ali Dahir Eid.
Synchronizing National Policy
The Minister’s primary objective is to chair the Coordination Meeting of Energy and Water Resource Ministries. This gathering unites representatives from the Federal Government and Federal Member States to synchronize policies and create a unified national strategy for these critical sectors.
Leadership aims to coordinate various development initiatives to address both immediate and future infrastructure requirements.
Collaborative Framework
At the reception, Vice President Ali Dahir Eid endorsed the initiative, highlighting the necessity of federal and state collaboration in resource administration.
The forthcoming meeting seeks to establish a strong framework featuring transparent information exchange and coordinated project implementation. Authorities anticipate that this integrated strategy will substantially improve the provision of reliable energy and water services to residents across the region.
