The Ministry of Energy and Water Resources will work together with the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) to tackle the effects of drought and floods.
Jama Taqal Abbas, the energy minister, led ministry officials in discussing this issue with SODMA officers led by Commissioner Mahamuud Moallim.
They held their talks on Sunday in Mogadishu.
Ministry personnel agreed with SODMA to find a coherent approach to reducing the impact of drought and floods around the country.
They are to strengthen sustainable solutions and resilience to disasters too.
