President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey has received a get-well message from President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo.
Erdogan and his wife tested positive for Omicron, a COVID-19 variant, on February 6.
Immediately thereafter, President Farmaajo wished him and his wife a quick recovery from the disease.
President Erdogan expressed his gratitude to Farmaajo, who he called his “dear friend.”
He also expressed his “heartfelt greetings” to the people of Somalia.
Turkey and Somalia enjoy brotherly relations.
