Ethiopia and Somaliland have now held talks on the possibility of pursuing and embracing military cooperation.
Talks in this regard took place on Monday, January 8.
Those leading these discussions included Field Marshall Birhanu Jula and Major General Nuh Ismael Tani.
Jula is the General Commander of the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) whereas Maj. Gen. Tani heads the Somaliland National Armed Forces.
These discussions occurred a week after Ethiopia signed a seismic agreement with Somaliland.
