Ethiopia accuses President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of rejecting the security team assigned to him.
This comes after Somalia’s President Mohamud said that Ethiopian officials attempted to block him and his team from attending the 37th African Union Summit in Addis Ababa.
According to Mohamud, the officials did not want him to attend the Saturday session.
However, Ethiopia has now come out to defend itself against the accusations by Somalia.
It said the President and his delegation refused to accompany the team assigned to them.
Ethiopia added that it is responsible for all leaders attending the AU Summit in the country.
