The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Ethiopia and Somaliland will be elevated to a practical agreement.
Prosperity Party, which is the ruling party in Ethiopia, vowed to take this route when members of its Executive and Central Committees met on Thursday.
Members of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s party vowed not to rest until the MoU becomes a practical agreement.
They added that the deal with Somaliland enhances Ethiopia’s position and influence in regional economic and cultural ties.
