Tiina Intelmann, the European Union Ambassador to Somalia, has called for increased public-private partnerships (PPPs) in the tech world.
Ambassador Intelmann was speaking on December 9 during the last day of the Mogadishu Tech Summit.
The Summit ran for three days from December 7-9.
On Thursday, while addressing participants at the Summit, Ambassador Intelmann praised Somalia’s young generation for being “dynamic and tech-savvy.”
She stated that EU would work closely with the Somali government and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) to support tech and innovation in the East African nation.
