Mogadishu – On Sunday, European Union Ambassador to Somalia, Karin Johansson, met with leading civil society representatives led by the Chairperson of the Somali Non-State Actors (SONSA).
The discussions focused on the upcoming National Dialogue Forum and the crucial role civil society plays in ensuring inclusive, transparent, and sustainable outcomes.
Amb. Johansson emphasized the EU’s continued support for Somalia’s state-building efforts and encouraged civil society to remain actively engaged in shaping the country’s future.
Participants welcomed the dialogue, stressing the need for broad participation, including youth and women, to strengthen national unity and democratic progress.
