The European Union promises to continue supporting the advancement of democracy in Somalia.
This follows a meeting in Brussels between Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Charles Michel.
The latter is the President of the EU Council.
President Mohamud and Michel met on Wednesday.
The Somali President reiterated his government’s steadfast commitment to the eradication of terrorism to the EU Council President.
He expressed further pleasure at the cooperation between the EU and Somalia at all levels.
