A former Commander of the Somali Police Force (SPF) has won a federal Lower House seat in elections held in Puntland on March 5.
Saturday’s elections took place in Bosaso.
The port city of Bosaso is Puntland’s second voting center.
In today’s elections, former police boss Bashir Abdi Ameriko won elections for the HOP#234 seat.
Consequently, he will represent the region at the House of the People in Mogadishu.
