Former Prime Ministers of Somalia traveled to Garowe to attempt to resolve disputes between various local leaders.
Ex-Prime Ministers Abdiweli Gaas and Omar Abdirashid led their colleagues on the tour.
They were in the Puntland capital on Monday.
The former Prime Ministers will attempt to quell the conflict that arose from the disputed local elections earlier this month.
Twenty people lost their lives in the clashes.
Gaas and Abdirashid have been at the forefront of cautioning the region’s President Said Abdullahi Deni to cease any action that could jeopardize the unity of Puntland.
