A former military chief was laid to rest in Mogadishu on Saturday.
Top military chiefs attended the burial of the late Brigadier General Mohamud Gelle Yusuf.
Brig. Gen. Yusuf served the military in various capacities.
He rose to become the deputy commander of the Somali National Army (SNA) as well as the commander of the Navy Force.
Those who were at his burial included Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Sheikh Muhuyidin, the Chief of the Armed Forces.
