Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, a former President of Somalia, has condemned the coup that President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo attempted on December 27, 2021.
Farmaajo attempted the coup against Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble on Monday.
Ex-President Sheikh reminded Farmaajo that the people of Somalia remain awake and watchful.
He also urged all Somalis to protect the democratic rule of law within Somalia.
Furthermore, ex-President Sheikh called upon all Somalis to support Prime Minister Roble as he implements elections in the country.
