A former President of Somalia has rubbished the deal that Ethiopia signed with Somaliland on January 1, 2024.
Ex-President Abdiqasim Salad Hassan questioned the rationale behind the deal.
On Thursday, the former President added that the deal has no legal standing since Somaliland remains a part of Somalia.
Consequently, Somaliland has no locus standi for signing a contract with any other nation.
