Primary and secondary school students in Somaliland are currently sitting for their examinations.
President Muse Bihi Abdi inaugurated the exams on Saturday, June 22.
Grade 12 and Grade 8 students in secondary and primary schools respectively are sitting for the national certificate exams.
The President was flanked by officials from the Ministry of Education while launching the exams.
He was also with the head of the exams council.
A total of 15,542 students are sitting the Grade 12 exams. Meanwhile, around 22,947 Grade 8 students in primary schools are sitting their exams.
